ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจ (Decision Support System) เป็นระบบย่อยหนึ่งในระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการจัดการ โดยที่ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจจะช่วยผู้บริหารในเรื่องการตัดสินใจในเหตุการณ์หรือกิจกรรมทางธุรกิจที่ไม่มีโครงสร้างแน่นอน หรือกึ่งโครงสร้าง ระบบสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจอาจจะใช้กับบุคคลเดียวหรือช่วยสนับสนุนการตัดสินใจเป็นกลุ่ม นอกจากนั้น ยังมีระบบสนับสนุนผู้บริหารเพื่อช่วยผู้บริหารในการตัดสินใจเชิงกลยุทธ์
